It’s official! School is back in session for kids across the country. Are you the parent that gets a little weepy seeing them off on their first day, or the mom that does the happy dance and breathes a sigh of relief? I’m absolutely in the second camp. One of my favorite things about this time of year is back-to-school shopping. I love making sure my kids have everything they need for a successful year ahead. But not everything they need is on the “official” school supply list. Multi-tasking, non-toxic haircare is a must have for all families, so check out how you can be ready for anything the school year brings your way with SoCozy products and partners!
The ultimate multi-tasking product, SoCozy Cinch is a shampoo and wash that gets the job done… in a cinch! We love this shampoo because it lathers well, can be used as a bodywash, and, most importantly, is formulated with safe, yet effective, ingredients.
Made with an uplifting combination of pineapple, peach, melon, berry, jasmine, and vanilla, we use this spray between shampoos for my youngest daughter’s ultra-fine hair. She can easily get it tangled and messy, and this helps keep the tugs and pulls of brushing at a minimum.
My oldest daughter has long, thick, straight hair, and every day has to wear it up in a bun for dance class. This has been the best product that we have found that helps us manage that! We comb it through her wet hair and it makes her hair smooth and manageable and helps it stay in place. Plus, it smells amazing thanks to bergamot, lily of the valley, and pear nectar.
Formulated with a proprietary blend of natural ingredients, including essential oils peppermint, rosemary, and lavender, SoCozy’s lice scaring spray is a little like school-year insurance for your child’s hair! Simply spray it on your child’s hair daily to prevent lice. It also works as a leave-in conditioner so it helps detangle as you brush. I love this stuff and it is truly one of our family’s must-haves. I also like to spray my kids’ backpacks and jackets with it, just to make extra-sure lice are catching a ride home with them.
SoCozy partnered with Yoobi products for #yoobiGives. With every Yoobi purchase, Yoobi donates to a classroom in need. Maybe you’ve seen Yoobi’s clever products, like this Jumbo Highlighter, in Target stores? SoCozy worked on the #GoBackGiveBig campaign with Yoobi this summer and donated to supplying deserving schools with back-to-school essentials. #yoobiAwesome
If you’ve got girls, you know the struggle is real when it comes to managing hairstyles and tools to keep those hairstyles in place. Have you seen Invisibobble? These traceless hair rings are unreal! They don’t snag, tug, or crimp hair and, despite their smooth appearance, do an incredible job of holding hair up. I have found that they even give a little life to a high pony-tail. #iaminvisibobble
Speaking of multi-taskers, Dr. Dana Lips & Tips is a busy mom’s best friend. A double-ended product, one side is a natural lip gloss, the other side is a cuticle treatment. I love this color, Nude Kava, and appreciate that it’s free from parabens, formaldehyde, and is cruelty-free. It comes in a variety of colors, too, so you can find one that is just right for you! The nail treatment is a nice way to shine up a manicure, or do damage control on nails that are looking a little neglected! I love using cuticle gel to hide flaws in my chipped nail polish or on my bare nails. This is such a handy beauty tool! #DrDanaBeauty #NailPower
I look at my girls every day and wonder who they will be tomorrow, in five years, in ten, and so on. The LB Brand’s DEAR BIG ME wall print is a framable, stylish, inspiring reminder for them that their potential is unlimited! #thelbbrand
