I have said from the very beginning that one of the best things about having girls is the adorable clothing! Having two girls I recognize the importance of hand-me-downs and thus find it important to buy quality, classic clothing for my kids. Hartstrings is an online and retail children’s clothing store that offers exactly what I want in clothing for my kids.
Emma has worn this beautiful knit dress from the Palm Beach line at Hartstrings and I am so impressed with its workmanship. Because it’s pink and ruffly I expected something light – I was a little worried she’d have to wait until spring to wear it. On the contrary, it’s a thick knit fabric, that when Emma wears it with leggings is perfectly suitable for fall and winter wear! And she looks so pretty in it! The pattern and colors are feminine and it fits her just right, with a good length and cut at the arms and neckline.
We also have some of the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen for children from Hartstrings. The Silver Ballet Flats, unfortunately, were a bit too small, but I don’t know if this is standard sizing for Harstrings shoes. My suggestion would be to order a size larger in Hartstrings shoes than you would normally. I’m going to either exchange them for a larger size or save them for my little Abigail to grow into.
One of the difficulties we run into when shopping for clothes for our kids, especially now that Emma is getting older, is finding clothing appropriate for her age. A lot of clothing manufacturer’s nowadays tend to sell clothes that either make a 7 year-old look like a teenager or sell very trendy clothes that won’t stand the test of time. Hartstrings is not that kind of a store. They have classic, modern styles that are made of quality style and material, so when cared for appropriately, have the potential to last through a couple children!
Hartstrings not only offers clothing, shoes, and accessories for children and babies, but they offer family outfits as well! This is something that I love when considering what to do for our holiday portrait or what I want us all to wear to church on Christmas Sunday. Coordinating styles for siblings make things so much more fun this time of year!
