Have an Udi-ful Thanksgiving! | Udi’s Review & Giveaway

A couple of weeks ago there was a discussion going on about an upcoming event for our church, a Thanksgiving potluck. One woman stood up and plead her case about wanting to bring her daughter, but being concerned because her daughter had celiac disease and was only able to eat gluten-free foods. She simply asked that if anyone else was in the same predicament to please just put a little note by the dish that says it’s gluten-free so her daughter wouldn’t feel bad about having to ask. After she said that I really felt for her daughter, she wanted to avoid any perceived rudeness and hope that there would be food for her to be able to enjoy at the potluck. It got me to thinking, how many people are in the same predicament this year?

Udi’s Gluten Free has some new additions to their product line-up, and just in time for the holidays. In your grocer’s freezer section – hopefully now, and if not, then soon – you’ll find Udi’s Classic French Dinner Rolls, Whole Grain Seeded Dinner Rolls, and French Baguettes. These rolls will help your holiday please tastes of every kind, and will rival any traditional roll!

I didn’t have luck finding the rolls or baguettes in my town yet, but our store do carry other Udi’s products, like their Dark Chocolate Brownie Bites and Lemon Streusel Muffins (two of my very favorite Udi’s products). I’m also anxious to try Udi’s Frozen Pizza, which comes in Pepperoni, Margherita, and Three Cheese varieties. Since I can’t find the rolls for our Thanksgiving meal this year, we’ll be having an Udi-ful Thanksgiving breakfast! I picked up some of the muffins and, my husbands favorite, Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, to get our holiday started off right and give me the energy I need to get through a long day of baking!

Some upcoming Udi’s products to watch for include Mighty Bagels, Everything Inside Bagels, Harvest Crunch Muffins, Double Vanilla Muffins, and Plain Tortillas. It’s wonderful to see so many options opening up for consumers who are living a gluten-free lifestyle! Be sure to follow Udi’s on Facebook and Twitter, so you can stay up to date on new products and promotions, but also have the chance to engage with their community of fans who offer encouragement and support, as well as recipes and other ideas for living a gluten-free lifestyle!

My Mom’s stuffing, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie are all tied for my favorites but since it has so many happy memories attached to it I would have to say the stuffing is the best!
