I never used to shop at Walgreens. I thought they were overpriced compared to “big box” stores like Target or Wal-Mart. Then I found out about Register Rewards and the monthly Easy Saver Rebate catalog. When I finally figured out how to use them, all of a sudden I found that I couldn’t afford not to shop there. It all seems so complicated and overwhelming to begin with, but after you do it once or twice, it is really an easy system to work with.
- Olay and Zest Body Wash are on sale 3/$10 with a $3 Register Reward. In the 6/29 newspaper coupon inserts there were $2 off 1 Olay Botanicals Fusions body wash and $1.50 off one Olay Body wash coupons. There were also $2 off one Olay Ribbons body wash in the Procter & Gamble insert from 7/6. Depending on how many coupons you have, you could do this deal a number of ways. I plan on using 3 of the $2 off coupons making 3 body washes cost only $4, then getting $3 RR back – I’m only paying $1 for three bottles of Olay Body Wash!
- Aussie and Herbal Essence hair products are also on sale 3/$10 and get $3 Register Rewards. There are $3 off 2 Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners from the P&G 7/6 insert. Buy 4 Herbal Essences shampoos or conditioners for $13.33, use 2 of the $3/2 coupons, making it only $7.33 for 4 bottles of shampoo and conditioner, then get $3 RR, therefore only costing $4 for 4 bottles.
- Infusium shampoos and conditioners are on sale 2 for $12 and get $3 RR. There are $3 off one bottle of Infusium coupons in the 7/6 P&G coupon insert. Use two of those and you’ll get two bottles of Infusium for $6, plus get $3 RR, making it only cost $3 for two bottles!
- COMBINE any two of those deals (Spend $20 total, at least, on these products) and you’ll receive $7 RR instead of $6. Using the Infusium deal and the Olay deal combined, a total of $22, less $12 in coupons, makes it $10 out of pocket, with $7 RR. After the RR, you will have really only paid $3 for 2 bottles of Infusium and 3 bottles of body wash!
